S. Warrick has 177 and a story

I have been doing this long enough to have written off men like S. Warrick, who was cut twice before his twenty-fourth birthday. 177 yards is the league's way of saying nothing is settled. He has never once been photographed smiling on a sideline, which his teammates have stopped remarking on. The ones who arrive like this tend to know what it cost. That is usually worth something in December.

This story ran on the wire in week 7 of 1985. The rest of the season is in the paper.
