118 against the club that let him go

Wendell Sowerbutts, notebook

Rush Moore RB
The Custodians

Rush Moore had 118 yards against the Millwrights, who used to employ him. Two of them found the end zone. The fixture comes round again next year.

The ledger, after seven seasons: 7,095 yards, sixty scores. His best was 1,891. This is not that, yet. For two clubs.

Thirty-one, and Miami, Florida before that. Ask anybody: he says almost nothing and is listened to anyway. He was undrafted out of Cutler Bible, signed the Tuesday after for the minimum.

The Custodians are 3-2 through five weeks. Mateo Morrow is new. The contract runs out in the spring.

Moore keeps his father's work gloves in his locker.
