Zayvion Jessup finds it, in year 10

Dez Cruikshank, team beat

Zayvion Jessup WR
Grackles

Zayvion Jessup had 108 yards. He was a walk-on at Ives Polytechnic who did not have a scholarship until his third year. He is 32, and he is popular in a way that does not show up anywhere useful. It counts the same as anybody else's.

The ledger, after six seasons: 5,161 yards, forty-one scores. His best was 1,363. This is not that, yet. Three clubs have had him.

He is from Hollow Rock, Tennessee. In another life he worked nights at a rendering plant to pay for a truck he never bought.

Grackles are 8-6 through fifteen weeks. Quinton Underhill is in year five of it. There is one year left on the deal.

He eats the same breakfast every game day and will not discuss it, and always has.
