The long way round: S. Larue goes for 131

I have been doing this long enough to have written off men like S. Larue, who was a late bloomer who did not start a game until he was a college senior. 131 yards is the league's way of saying nothing is settled. He has worn the same undershirt since his rookie year and had it repaired twice, which his teammates have stopped remarking on. The ones who arrive like this tend to know what it cost. That is usually worth something in December.
