Prospectors without Najee Ingram again

Gridiron Wire, league desk

Najee Ingram RB
Prospectors

Najee Ingram is out the rest of the season. The Prospectors did not provide further detail. It is the second broken forearm of his career.

The ledger, after two seasons: 2,327 yards, thirteen scores. This is the best of them.

Lagos, Nigeria is where he is from. He is twenty-two. He runs hot, and everybody has decided to live with it. Nobody planned any of it. He was a mid-round pick who was the fourth-best player on his own college team. He was a competitive swimmer until his shoulders got too big, once.

The club is 9-3. Solomon Fields is in year five of it.

One more thing: he is the last man off the field, every week, without exception.

This feature ran in the paper in week 13 of 1982. The rest of the season is there too.
