The list does not count it

Lorenzo Hobbeson RB
Marauders

Lorenzo Hobbeson scored from nine yards and from three before the first quarter at the Roughnecks was over, the Marauders led 21-0 and then 24-3, and they won 24-23 because Bishop Oliphant missed an extra point early in the fourth quarter and Rhett Loomis was intercepted at his own 45 on the last snap. Fifteen carries, seventy yards, two touchdowns, at thirty-five, in his twelfth playoff game and only his fourth playoff win. Add the seventy to the count he has been posting and it reads 18,591. The all-time list he is chasing reads 18,521, because the list is the regular season's — the same book that has Cormac Loomis stopped at 23,783 — and none of his 654 playoff yards are in it, not the seventy-eight in the final the Marauders lost by two a couple of years ago, not these. On the list he is 479 short of 19,000, and the list reopens in week one of next season, for whichever club is paying him by then. The Iron Jug is not on his list at all, and it is played for now: the Marauders go to the Turbines, whom they beat 29-20 in week 8, in the divisional round.
