The Toboggans
Zane Renfrow was signed off a practice squad in November and never gave the job back. Every one of those is a scout who kept his job anyway. He refuses to be taped by anybody but the same assistant trainer, which his teammates have stopped remarking on. The ones who arrive like this tend to know what it cost. That is usually worth something in December.
He has 1,132 yards from scrimmage in two seasons, and seven touchdowns. None of the others were this good.
Twenty-three, and Miami, Florida before that. Ask anybody: he is the one the young players actually ask. In another life he taught himself to weld from library books.
The Toboggans, 11-4, and sixteen weeks gone. Mudd Farrow is in year six of it.
