There is a version of Q. Jones's life where none of this happens. He was converted from linebacker in his second professional season. Instead: 139 yards. He learned to cook properly during a rehab year and now does it for the offensive line, which his teammates have stopped remarking on. It is a long way from Cleveland, Ohio, and he did not come the easy way.
