Cormac Loomis is back, and immediately useful

Prospectors

Cormac Loomis returned from a broken hand and put up 31.8 points.

33,396 yards over fifteen seasons. 186 touchdowns. 242 games. His best was 3,614. This is not that, yet. He has done it in four buildings.

New Antwerp, Wisconsin is where he is from. He is thirty-six. Ask anybody: he is unfailingly polite and completely unknowable. Nobody planned any of it. He was a late bloomer who did not start a game until he was a college senior.

Prospectors are 6-1 through seven weeks. Hoot Jessup is in year nine of it. The contract runs out in the spring.

One more thing: he has worn the same undershirt since his rookie year and had it repaired twice.
