Jermaine Crenshaw returns from the foot

Jermaine Crenshaw WR
Prospectors

Jermaine Crenshaw returned from a foot after one game and logged 187 yards. No visible limitation.

The ledger, after seven seasons: 6,382 yards, seventeen scores. He got to 1,543 once. Not this time. Two of those shirts belong to somebody else now.

He turned twenty-six this year. He is from Coalport, Alabama. Ask anybody: he keeps his own counsel and his own hours. Nobody planned any of it. He was an academic transfer who arrived at Saint Ambrose to study engineering.

The club is 4-1. Hoot Jessup is in year four of it.

One more thing: he refuses to be taped by anybody but the same assistant trainer.

This feature ran in the paper in week 5 of 2016. The rest of the season is there too.
