226 against the club that let him go

Chip Nutbeam, hot take

Demarcus Jessup WR
Millwrights

Demarcus Jessup had 226 yards against the Toboggans, who used to employ him. He is 27 now, which was most of the argument at the time. The fixture comes round again next year.

Across seven seasons: 4,578 yards from scrimmage, thirty-one touchdowns, ninety-one games. He has never had a year like it. He has done it in two buildings.

He is from Harlow Bend, Louisiana. Around the building he would rather be almost anywhere else on a Tuesday. The route here: drafted on a medical gamble that three clubs would not take.

Millwrights are 2-1 through three weeks. Jarrett Sowerbutts is in year seven of it.

Jessup has worn the same undershirt since his rookie year and had it repaired twice.
