Anton Petrossian done for the year

Wendell Sowerbutts, notebook

Anton Petrossian QB
Ironmen

Anton Petrossian is unavailable. That is the season. He reads Durable, which is what makes this one feel unlucky rather than inevitable.

The ledger, after thirteen seasons: 24,219 yards, 391 scores. His best was 3,210. This is not that, yet. He has done it in three buildings.

Thirty-four, and Tijuana, Mexico before that. He is the first man in the building most mornings. Nobody planned any of it. He was converted from quarterback, which he was not good enough at.

Ironmen, 9-3, and thirteen weeks gone. Donte Yelverton is in year four of it. The contract runs out in the spring.

Petrossian has a rule about not reading anything written about him, which he breaks.

This feature ran in the paper in week 13 of 2015. The rest of the season is there too.
