The Toboggans lose Milo Van Ostrand to an ACL

Marlene Ostrowski, column

Milo Van Ostrand TE
The Toboggans

Milo Van Ostrand is hurt again, and this time it is an ACL and the whole season. It is the second ACL of his career.

Across eleven seasons: 7,164 yards from scrimmage, seventy-three touchdowns, 166 games. He got to 981 once. Not this time. He has done it in four buildings.

He is thirty-two, out of Baltimore, Maryland. He keeps his own counsel and his own hours. He was converted from quarterback, which he was not good enough at. He kept bees, once.

The club is 6-6. Emmett Garrity is new. The contract runs out in the spring.

Never takes his helmet off between series.
