K. Hardaway to Jarrett Oglethorpe, again

The Fighting Ostriches

K. Hardaway TO Jarrett Oglethorpe. AGAIN. That is 20 of them now. They have played 4 games together this season alone. It is the simplest thing this offence does and the hardest to stop.

The ledger, after twelve seasons: 9,712 yards, eighty scores. His best was 1,181. This is not that, yet. Three clubs have had him.

Thirty-two, and Oakland, California before that. Ask anybody: he is the one the young players actually ask. He was drafted on a medical gamble that three clubs would not take.

The Fighting Ostriches are 2-2 through four weeks. Reuben Dupree is in year five of it. The contract runs out in the spring.

Oglethorpe learned to cook properly during a rehab year and now does it for the offensive line.

This feature ran in the paper in week 4 of 2011. The rest of the season is there too.
