Nobody drafted this afternoon

Chip Nutbeam, hot take

Weston Langston QB
The Mustaches

Weston Langston was drafted on a medical gamble that three clubs would not take and just put up 138 YARDS. This is the best thing that has happened all season. He is 35, and he is the first man in the building most mornings. It counts the same as anybody else's.

19,062 yards over twelve seasons. 282 touchdowns. 202 games. His best was 1,987. This is not that, yet.

He is from Gdansk, Poland. In another life he was three credits short of a nursing degree.

The club is 4-1. Silas Beale is in year thirteen of it. He is out of contract after this.

He answers every question in exactly one sentence, and always has.
