Keegan Ellery had this date circled, whatever he says

Keegan Ellery RB
Nightshift

A club let Keegan Ellery walk. He gained 110 yards on them. These two facts are being carefully kept apart in the postgame. He is 34 now, which was most of the argument at the time. Both clubs will insist there is nothing in it. There is always something in it.

The ledger, after eleven seasons: 17,638 yards, 113 scores. This is the best of them. Four clubs have had him.

He is from Sable, North Dakota. He says almost nothing and is listened to anyway. The route here: a first-round pick out of Fort Ridley, and everybody saw it coming.

The club is 6-3. Rafael Everhart is in year five of it. There is one year left on the deal.

Ellery has a rule about not reading anything written about him, which he breaks.

This feature ran in the paper in week 10 of 2010. The rest of the season is there too.
