Draymen lose Vance Calloway to a broken leg

Vance Calloway: broken leg, the rest of the season. It is the third time this season he has been on the report.

He has 16,302 yards from scrimmage in ten seasons, and 232 touchdowns. His best was 2,175. This is not that, yet.

He turned thirty-one this year. He is from Salt Fork, Oklahoma. Ask anybody: he is the first man in the building most mornings. The route here: the second man taken at his position out of Saint Ambrose.

Draymen, 2-1, and three weeks gone. Cormac Fairbanks II is in year two of it.

He collects vinyl and is insufferable about it, and always has.

This feature ran in the paper in week 3 of 2009. The rest of the season is there too.
