Ricky Vinatieri had this date circled, whatever he says

Ricky Vinatieri RB
Firebrands

Ricky Vinatieri, formerly of the Ironmen: 78 yards. He was asked about it and said it was just another game. He would rather be almost anywhere else on a Tuesday, so nobody expects him to say much about it. The fixture comes round again next year.

He has 8,686 yards from scrimmage in six seasons, and fifty-nine touchdowns. His best was 2,132. This is not that, yet. Three clubs have had him.

He is twenty-nine, out of Cleveland, Ohio. The route here: drafted on a medical gamble that three clubs would not take.

Firebrands are 6-3 through ten weeks. Barney Grit is in year fourteen of it. There is one year left on the deal.

Vinatieri learned to cook properly during a rehab year and now does it for the offensive line.
