concussion costs Nathaniel Farrow 3 games

Marlene Ostrowski, column

Nathaniel Farrow RB
Prospectors

The Prospectors have lost Nathaniel Farrow to a concussion. Nobody who reads a durability grade is surprised. It is the third time this season he has been on the report. This was always the risk and everyone knew it.

The ledger, after six seasons: 8,808 yards, forty-seven scores. He got to 2,170 once. Not this time.

Salt Fork, Oklahoma is where he is from. He is twenty-seven. Ask anybody: he talks constantly and means about half of it. The route here: a walk-on at Sawtooth Junior who did not have a scholarship until his third year.

The club is 1-1. Donte Yelverton is new. There is one year left on the deal.

He has worn the same undershirt since his rookie year and had it repaired twice, and always has.
