Bryce Oglethorpe returns from the foot

P.J. Thorne, injury desk

Bryce Oglethorpe RB
Dredgers

Bryce Oglethorpe returned from a foot and put up 22.1 points.

He has 2,619 yards from scrimmage in two seasons, and eight touchdowns. He has never had a year like it.

He is twenty-three, out of Cinderbrook, Pennsylvania. Around the building he runs hot, and everybody has decided to live with it. He was rugby until he was nineteen, and he tackles like it. Before any of it he played the trombone well enough to be offered a scholarship for it.

Dredgers are 9-7 through seventeen weeks. Wendell Jessup is in year two of it.

One more thing: he refuses to be taped by anybody but the same assistant trainer.

This feature ran in the paper in week 17 of 2006. The rest of the season is there too.
