Weston Langston was not supposed to be here

Chip Nutbeam, hot take

Weston Langston QB
The Mustaches

Weston Langston had 133 yards. He was drafted on a medical gamble that three clubs would not take. Two of them found the end zone, in game 13 of his season. It counts the same as anybody else's.

He has 11,800 yards from scrimmage in eight seasons, and 166 touchdowns. There was a 1,987-yard year in there. This is not it.

Gdansk, Poland is where he is from. He is thirty-one. Ask anybody: he is the first man in the building most mornings. He was three credits short of a nursing degree, once.

The club is 3-10. Silas Beale is in year nine of it. The contract runs out in the spring.

He answers every question in exactly one sentence, and always has.
