Marlene Ostrowski, column

Terrell Rollins QB
Hellcats

1,564 yards over three seasons. Twenty-two touchdowns. Twenty-seven games. There was a 835-yard year in there. This is not it.

He turned twenty-nine this year. He is from Auckland, New Zealand. He is the one the young players actually ask. The route here: a mid-round pick who was the fourth-best player on his own college team.

Hellcats, 2-3, and five weeks gone. Hakeem Jones is in year two of it.

Rollins keeps his father's work gloves in his locker.
