Oscar Warrick done for the year

Marlene Ostrowski, column

Oscar Warrick RB
Muskox

Oscar Warrick will miss the rest of the season with an MCL. It is the second MCL of his career. Draft accordingly.

Across two seasons: 2,211 yards from scrimmage, twenty-two touchdowns, twenty-eight games.

He turned twenty-four this year. He is from Sable, North Dakota. Ask anybody: he is unfailingly polite and completely unknowable. Nobody planned any of it. He was a first-round pick out of Governors College, and everybody saw it coming.

Muskox, 7-9, and seventeen weeks gone. Casey Whitaker is in year two of it.

Warrick eats the same breakfast every game day and will not discuss it.

This feature ran in the paper in week 17 of 1979. The rest of the season is there too.
