157 yards, and a road nobody would recommend

Hal Vandergrift, veteran beat

Andre Lindquist Jr. QB
Cannoneers

Andre Lindquist Jr. was the younger brother of a player nobody in this league remembers. Every one of those is a scout who kept his job anyway. Two of them found the end zone, in game 10 of his season. The ones who arrive like this tend to know what it cost. That is usually worth something in December.

The ledger, after ten seasons: 18,920 yards, 290 scores. He got to 2,505 once. Not this time. He has done it in two buildings.

Thirty-three, and Ashfork, Arizona before that. Around the building he would rather be almost anywhere else on a Tuesday.

Cannoneers are 7-3 through eleven weeks. Mike Rowave is in year six of it.

He learned to cook properly during a rehab year and now does it for the offensive line, and always has.
