The long way round: B. Inchcape goes for 256

I have been doing this long enough to have written off men like B. Inchcape, who was converted from quarterback, which he was not good enough at. 256 yards is the league's way of saying nothing is settled. He is 29, and he is unfailingly polite and completely unknowable. The ones who arrive like this tend to know what it cost. That is usually worth something in December.
