Bishop Quigley done for the year

Marlene Ostrowski, column

Bishop Quigley WR
Marauders

Bishop Quigley will miss the rest of the season with a broken leg. The backup inherits the job for now. Draft accordingly.

13,183 yards over fourteen seasons. Forty-nine touchdowns. 176 games. His best was 1,593. This is not that, yet. Two of those shirts belong to somebody else now.

He is thirty-four, out of Tannery Row, Maine. Around the building he is the first man in the building most mornings. He was the second man taken at his position out of Northgate.

Marauders are 1-2 through three weeks. Donte Boyce is in year three of it. The contract runs out in the spring.

Refuses to be taped by anybody but the same assistant trainer.

This feature ran in the paper in week 3 of 2003. The rest of the season is there too.
