There is a version of E. Prentice's life where none of this happens. He was a walk-on at Cutler Bible who did not have a scholarship until his third year. Instead: 197 yards. Two of them found the end zone, in game 13 of his season. It is a long way from Bitter Lake, Idaho, and he did not come the easy way.
