Brandon Mostert RB
The Toboggans

157 yards from a man who was converted from quarterback, which he was not good enough at. The scouting industry declines to comment. He refuses to be taped by anybody but the same assistant trainer, which his teammates have stopped remarking on. It counts the same as anybody else's.

He has 4,296 yards from scrimmage in four seasons, and twenty-one touchdowns. He has never had a year like it.

He is twenty-seven, out of Cattaraugus Falls, New York. Around the building he is the first man in the building most mornings.

The Toboggans, 1-1, and two weeks gone. Bo Popplewell is new. The contract runs out in the spring.

This feature ran in the paper in week 2 of 2001. The rest of the season is there too.
