The Sentinels get a good look at Garrett Montrose III

Chip Nutbeam, hot take

Garrett Montrose III QB
Cannoneers

Garrett Montrose III went for 128 against the Sentinels AND THEY LET HIM LEAVE. He is 36 now, which was most of the argument at the time. The fixture comes round again next year.

10,215 yards over ten seasons. 161 touchdowns. 158 games. There was a 2,431-yard year in there. This is not it. For five clubs.

He is from Sable, North Dakota. He talks constantly and means about half of it. He was a track man who was talked into it by a coach who never let go. In another life he drove a snowplow for the county.

Cannoneers, 3-3, and six weeks gone. Mike Rowave is new. The contract runs out in the spring.

One more thing: he has a rule about not reading anything written about him, which he breaks.
