128 yards, and a road nobody would recommend

Hal Vandergrift, veteran beat

Winston Interceptus QB
Ironmen

Winston Interceptus had 128 yards. He was undrafted out of Ozark Wesleyan, signed the Tuesday after for the minimum. He reads on the team plane, actual books, which his teammates find hilarious, which his teammates have stopped remarking on. It counts the same as anybody else's.

He has 23,691 yards from scrimmage in sixteen seasons, and 389 touchdowns. There was a 1,879-yard year in there. This is not it. Two of those shirts belong to somebody else now.

Thirty-seven, and Salt Fork, Oklahoma before that. Ask anybody: he talks constantly and means about half of it.

The club is 1-1. Turk Tolliver is new. The contract runs out in the spring.
