Kareem Zeller is back, and immediately useful

Dez Cruikshank, team beat

Kareem Zeller RB
Turbines

They got Kareem Zeller back. He looked like he never left — 28.1 points.

He has 8,359 yards from scrimmage in five seasons, and fifty-three touchdowns. His best was 1,817. This is not that, yet. He has done it in two buildings.

Twenty-seven, and Hollow Rock, Tennessee before that. He is unfailingly polite and completely unknowable. He was the second man taken at his position out of Governors College. He dug graves for a summer and says it was the best job he ever had, once.

The club is 9-6. Duke Gravelle is in year two of it.

One more thing: he keeps his father's work gloves in his locker.
