J. Vance was signed off a practice squad in November and never gave the job back. On this afternoon he had 199 yards, and in Bitter Lake, Idaho they will have seen it. He learned to cook properly during a rehab year and now does it for the offensive line, which his teammates have stopped remarking on. It is a long way from Bitter Lake, Idaho, and he did not come the easy way.
