155 against the club that let him go

Dez Cruikshank, team beat

Julius Vance QB
Cannoneers

155 yards for Julius Vance, against the club that did not want him. We did. He is 31 now, which was most of the argument at the time. The fixture comes round again next year.

The ledger, after eight seasons: 10,331 yards, 155 scores. He got to 2,074 once. Not this time. He has done it in three buildings.

He is from Bitter Lake, Idaho. He is unfailingly polite and completely unknowable. The route here: signed off a practice squad in November and never gave the job back.

The club is 0-3. Hoot Jessup is in year twenty-one of it. He is out of contract after this.

He learned to cook properly during a rehab year and now does it for the offensive line, and always has.
