60 touchdowns and counting

Hal Vandergrift, veteran beat

Buster Underhill TE
Boarhounds

P. Thibodeaux has now thrown 60 touchdowns to Buster Underhill. Partnerships like that used to be how you described a team, before everybody started describing schemes. They have played 7 games together this season alone. It is the simplest thing this offence does and the hardest to stop.

Across seven seasons: 5,218 yards from scrimmage, sixty touchdowns, 118 games. He got to 1,077 once. Not this time.

He is twenty-nine, out of Bitter Lake, Idaho. Ask anybody: he keeps his own counsel and his own hours. Nobody planned any of it. He was a walk-on at Pitchfork A&M who did not have a scholarship until his third year.

Boarhounds are 5-2 through eight weeks. Oscar Kearse is in year seventeen of it. He is out of contract after this.

Has a rule about not reading anything written about him, which he breaks.
