Devon Bostick returns from the calf

Dez Cruikshank, team beat

Devon Bostick TE
Cannoneers

Devon Bostick returned from a calf and put up 32.2 points.

9,032 yards over sixteen seasons. 101 touchdowns. 213 games. There was a 1,493-yard year in there. This is not it. Four clubs have had him.

Muddy Creek, Kentucky is where he is from. He is thirty-six. Ask anybody: he is the first man in the building most mornings. Nobody planned any of it. He was a walk-on at Pitchfork A&M who did not have a scholarship until his third year.

Cannoneers are 2-1 through three weeks. Hoot Jessup is in year fifteen of it. There is one year left on the deal.

One more thing: he collects vinyl and is insufferable about it.

This feature ran in the paper in week 3 of 1992. The rest of the season is there too.
