128 yards, and a road nobody would recommend

Ruth Fairbanks, features

K.H. Hensley QB
Snowplows

K.H. Hensley had 128 yards. He was undrafted out of Fitchett State, signed the Tuesday after for the minimum. He keeps his father's work gloves in his locker, which his teammates have stopped remarking on. It is a long way from Kestrel, Montana, and he did not come the easy way.

Across six seasons: 8,538 yards from scrimmage, 114 touchdowns, ninety games. His best was 1,760. This is not that, yet.

He is twenty-seven. Around the building he has never been described as easy to coach.

Snowplows, 2-3, and five weeks gone. Isaiah Eakins is new.
