Normal to Fragile: Tobias Oliphant after the MCL

Hal Vandergrift, veteran beat

Tobias Oliphant DL
Pikemen

You see this two or three times a decade. An MCL at 37.4, and the player you knew is a player you remember. He lost 10.9 points of ability and will not get them back.

205 sacks and two interceptions across fifteen seasons. For six clubs.

He turned thirty-seven this year. He is from Muddy Creek, Kentucky. He is the first man in the building most mornings. The route here: a walk-on at Pitchfork A&M who did not have a scholarship until his third year.

Pikemen, 11-6, and eighteen weeks gone. Roman Speight is new. He is out of contract after this.

He does the crossword in the locker room before he dresses, and always has.
