Keegan Fenwick III lost for the year to an ankle

Gridiron Wire, league desk

Keegan Fenwick III QB
Prospectors

Keegan Fenwick III will miss the rest of the season with an ankle. It is the third time this season he has been on the report.

He has 23,450 yards from scrimmage in fourteen seasons, and 345 touchdowns. He got to 2,675 once. Not this time. He has done it in five buildings.

Verdigris, Kansas is where he is from. He is thirty-four. Ask anybody: he is the first man in the building most mornings. He was a track man who was talked into it by a coach who never let go.

The club is 7-5. Cole Slaw is new. The contract runs out in the spring.

He is the last man off the field, every week, without exception, and always has.

This feature ran in the paper in week 13 of 1990. The rest of the season is there too.
