Lug Nutley is back from the meniscus but has lost a step, and his durability grade has fallen to Normal. He lost 13.8 points of ability and will not get them back.
He turned thirty-five this year. He is from Lagos, Nigeria. He keeps his own counsel and his own hours. Nobody planned any of it. He was a track man who was talked into it by a coach who never let go. Before any of it he spent two summers on a crab boat.
The Custodians, 11-6, and eighteen weeks gone. Mateo Morrow is in year seven of it. The contract runs out in the spring.
He does the crossword in the locker room before he dresses, and always has.
