Damon Petrossian will miss the rest of the season with an Achilles. That is his season.

The ledger, after his first season: 1,173 yards, three scores.

He is thirty-three, out of Houston, Texas. Around the building he says almost nothing and is listened to anyway. Nobody planned any of it. He was converted from linebacker in his second professional season. Before any of it he dug graves for a summer and says it was the best job he ever had.

Muskox, 4-7, and twelve weeks gone. Casey Whitaker is new. The contract runs out in the spring.

Carries a chess set on the road and beats everyone.
